Actually, I'm surprised. I assumed he would not be on the 53 man roster, but I didn't think he'd retire.
Oh, well. Kind of slim at the position.

Pats playbook claims yet another.
In a way I look forward to the day’s post Brady.
It’s hard enough finding the 1% of the top 1% athletes in the world. Now they need mentally capable AND willing to do it for less than $6 mil per?
It’s almost easier finding a leprechaun riding a unicorn.

I don't think Brady had anything to do with this one. Brady does not make the playbook and if a receiver does not get it, or in Deckers case, cannot show enough to stay on a team that is very thin at wideout, not sure post Brady is going to make the team better.
Shut the 12 in the sky Brady signal down. It’s ok.
My point was nothing will change with TB here. Possibly they change from this cerebral beast of a playbook with the next guy.
Decker couldn't catch. I don't care if they had a Pop Warner playbook, he wouldn't be here.

His hands sucked, true, but I have also heard multiple radio peeps saying he was having a clear difficult time knowing his assignments and getting in sync. Zo mentioned it just this past week.

He never could catch. His career catch % is a lousy 59% and he's barely out of his prime.
I was a bit surprised the Pats signed him but...he looked good in a uni and there was also Jesse. In the end, he couldn't run, make crisp cuts or catch, 3 things an NFL WR has to be able to do. He's given way to younger more athletic guys.
Only 5 of the first 21 WRs drafted drafted in 2010 are still in the league:
1. Damaryius Thomas (hanging on for dear life in Denver)
2. Golden Tate (the guy BB should have drafted)
3. Emmanuel Sanders (the guy BB should have offered more to)
4. Andre Roberts (return specialist now w/ the JETE; doubt he makes the team)
5. Antonio Brown (195th pick; who knew?)
2010 was the year the Pats drafted Taylor Price in the 3rd round.
I heard that, too, but it was a coincident factor, not a deciding one. He was toast regardless.
Absolutely. And in my mind Antonio is worth every penny. This is why you don't pay WRs $20mm/yr unless they ARE Antonio Brown, who can play inside, outside, has breakaway speed, competes for every pass, and is also a top-notch punt returner. Best receiver in the league in my mind, and even he's now on the wrong side of 30.
How much money has Demariyus Thomas stolen from the Broncos, for example?

This.
Seriously man. Nobody said anything about Tom.Again, decker not being here has nothing to do with brady. Its not his playbook. Brady has to run the system like everyone else.
