LB Crowder, CB Allen held out of Dolphins practice

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - The Miami Dolphins are beginning preparations for Sunday's showdown against the New York Jets without two defensive starters.

Linebacker Channing Crowder and cornerback Will Allen were held out of practice Wednesday but stretched and jogged on the side.

Crowder is the Dolphins' second-leading tackler. He missed Sunday's game at Kansas City with a stiff knee. In his absence, Miami gave up a season-high 492 yards.

Allen pulled up limping at one point during the game. His injury has not been disclosed.

Is favre playing for the jets? Miami will be fine.
 
If they're jogging and stretching they will probably play, but they'll certainly not be at 100%.

Anything that helps the Jets, I'm all for.

Dude, you're a Pats fan. There can be no conflict. Jets win = GOOD THING.

Of course, if the Pats somehow lose to Buffalo, feel free to ignore that entirely.
