This is Dexter, one of our 3 children. When I work from home, he likes to help me with my work. We also have his biological brother who is jet black as well as an older lady who will be 16 in 2 weeks and may not make it to 17 (kidney failure).

We had a dalmation named Dottie
But her reputation was spotty
She loved to have sex with Fido and Rex
But she wouldn't go out with a Rottie.

Dottie was for real the rest just came to me long ago out of the blue.

My neighbor is a fanatic for Boxers. His wife tells people that if there was ever a fire, he'd save Henry first.

Huskies are gorgeous creatures. When our kids were toddlers, my brother-in-law was breeding them. He gave us one of his pups (Thunder) and he was a great dog. But the dog was too powerful for little toddlers and needed space to run, so we gave him to a farmer who had acres for him to run.

Huskies are a handful if they don't get their exercise. I walk mine at least 4 miles a day. Our backyard is fenced in so she does her sprint exercises back there to burn energy as well.

Kidney failure takes out lots of domestic cats. I have lost several that way. I just lost my latest old lady of 17 from cancer. Hence, enter Little Buddy! I simply can't be comfortable in a home that doesn't have cats.

Heh. a friends dad brought the suspenders over for me trying to be nice. Never have worn suspenders. :)

Ours doesn't but our girl Maia, who is a husky/lab mix, I swear sheds year round. We are forever vacuuming her hair almost every day.

They can. I know some owners who have to vacuum every day. We're lucky as ours sheds less than my parents' labs. Ours is a short hair Agouti husky. The short hair huskies shed much, much less. We barely even have to brush her which is very atypical for a husky.

The Agouti coat is the rarest color for huskies, so it can be tough to find. We just got lucky. Blue eyes are uncommon for the coat as well, but again we lucked out. The coat is so much easier to maintain so it's worth the effort to find one.

I have a camera shy Aussie. One of the sweetest most obedient dogs we’ve ever had, and we’ve had some real sweet, great dogs. Not going to lie she needs a job or 2 but working her isn’t a issue. She sheds as much as our Jack Russel’s did.

Shedding isn’t such a big issue in my world as are ticks ugh hate them. I’ll brush, vacuum, spray, as well as have her vet treated everyday if I could avoid the occasional tick lol.

We currently don’t own a cat.....but we have a couple of grand cats lol.

Agreed. People who dress up their animals in costumes should be shot. God gave them all the decoration they need!
