An interesting chart they showed on NFLN last night. Sorry about the blurs.

Raymond Berry's Patriots ('86) did a lot of ball stripping. I can't recall if they scored many on defense though.

That team was sick with turnovers. They had multiples every single game except one (against the Bills in week three). 47 total for the regular season and 18 in the playoffs (including two games with 6 each!). Three fumbles returned for TDs and only one interception became a score. Tony Franklin had 112 points out of 266 that year, so that's 136 points attributed to Defense and Kicker (That's 51% in my unscientific researchings).

Hell, Superbowl XX started out with a Bears turnover. Too bad that's also where it ended.

I wonder how the 86 Bears or the 00 Ravens would compare?

I don't know about the '86 Bears, but the '85 Bears scored 506 points for an average of 31.6 per game.

'00 Ravens scored 364 points, 22.75 per game, including 6 games where they didn't score an offensive TD. So, my guess is that they would have been pretty high in these rankings as well...the ratbirds I mean, not the Bears.
