disgusted and pissed
that was AMAZING...thank you!
bonus:"his kermit-ass voice"
Wheatley, although a project, was playing well enough in preseason to indicate that he can most likely help an OT needy team like the Patriots:Patriots traded RB Strong to the Browns for OT Tyrone Wheatley.
Could mean that the popular JJ Taylor makes the team.
Sam Roberts? I agree that he has more upside and is cheaper, but is a wildly different player. You see Roberts as a potential zero/NT run stopper?Robert's brings the same skill set ant is only in his 2nd year, more up slide, cheaper.

"The Patriots had selected Strong in the fourth round of the 2022 draft out of South Dakota State. He played sparingly on offense last season, totaling 10 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown, and seven receptions for 42 yards."Pats acquire Browns OT Wheatley for RB Strong

I'm assuming that by using assets (Pierre Strong, 6th round 2024 pick) they didn't acquire these two OTs on Aug 27 just to cut them Aug 29.Whoa.
I agree. Trading this late for Oline is not a good sign IMO on how Bill/BoB feel about the line heading into the season. I am surprised they traded now and did not wait for all the cuts tomorrow to see if they could sign another's team cut.I'm assuming that by using assets (Pierre Strong, 6th round 2024 pick) they didn't acquire these two OTs on Aug 27 just to cut them Aug 29.
I'm trying to find guys to cut to make room for two new offensive players. My overall roster was already skewed toward the offense, so I'm trying not to find defensive guys to to cut. I mean I now have 10 OLinesmen and 6 WRs not inlcuding Slater whom I always put as one of 6 STers. (this year P,PK, LS, Slater, Schooler, and one of Board or Munson).
We're all going to have our heartache/angst on cutdown day.
That's exactly why they didn't wait. When there's something you really need, you don't targeted a "while supplies last" sale on black Friday and hope to get one.I agree. Dallas trading for Lance was absurd.?
No. This is normal cut down stuff across the league. Shit, Dallas gave SF a 4th for the single most expensive quasi division two untested quarterback ever.
