isn't there a Dman with his jaw wired shut. He wasn't targeted, and played pretty well, as I recall. Not saying Z should play at all either. I wouldn't. I would think just a regular body check would be very painful to the jaw.

Toughest athletes in sport.
 
They have to go 7 D, especially if Chara is one of the 7. Grzy is also the likey other D-Man and he's coming off a concussion. Consider the physicality the Blues have thrown at our D and Chara/Gryz status, go 7.
From listening to the sports talk, they seem to think Backas is the odd man out.

It’s reported his jaw isn’t wired he’s got some reinforcement he’s wearing in his mouth though. Wiring probably means surgery and he won’t do it now, my educated guess
 
Latest report is that Chara will play, but Gryzlick has not been cleared from the concussion protocol and will not play.
 
Chara on the first shift. Let's see if they get an emotional bump.
 
heard them say on TV that probably can't have two "iffy" guys out there. imagine they dress 7 D including chara and Gryz and something happens to both those guys.
should see Gyrz back for game 6
