87 years old. Oscar and Emmy winner. He was outstanding in An Officer and a Gentleman. Iron Eagle too.
Officer and a gentleman is one of my all-time favorite movies. Awesome actor. RIP Sir.🫡

For the science fiction fans out there, Mr. Gosset also played Drac, the alien in Enemy Mine.

I've only seen the movie once, and it was many years ago, but I recall he gave an excellent performance.
 
He was believable in all his roles. I think that's a pretty high compliment for any actor.
