Right now SF doesn't have a C or a RG. They didn't want to have to replace LT, too.
Williams is 33 yrs old. He'll be 39 when that contract ends. Odds are good that won't happen. Let's wait for details.
The Chiefs wanted Williams badly. :giggle:

It seems that several teams in fairly good cap shape are sitting this one out in regards to free agency.

Think I on here I saw that the Jets, Jags, & Colts had plenty of cap $ & they all have been pretty quiet. Or the Pats just beat them to the punch.

If I am the Jets or Jags, I don't see the urgency to spend unless it's someone they absolutely covet.
The Colts are in contend mode so they are probably sitting back to see what happens between veteran cap casualties and the draft. Wouldn't shock me if they also got the ball rolling on potential trade talks with other teams before they finalized the Wentz trade.

AJ Greene isn't AJGreen anymore. I'm fine with Bourne for future production since he's so much younger than the 32 yr old Greene whose last 2 seasons played have been his worst.
