I'm on a tablet and having issues posting links, but Bob Wilson passed on thursday.

I grew up listening to him call Bruins games on the radio and Imo he and Dan Kelly are the two best hockey voices I've ever heard.

RIP Bob

Not just hockey voices, but sports radio voices. He would have excelled calling any sport. He's in the hockey Hall of Fame. The voices today pale in comparison.

Good looking out Rick.

Been out of the loop a little. First I heard today, on the way to a rink.

RIP Mr. Wilson.

I was at the B's game when I heard this and it kinda put a bummer on the night....

In the early 90s I lived in upstate New York. On the few times I would be heading back to Boston (Thanksgiving or something)... I would time my departure to get to Pittsfield around 7:30 so I could hear as much of Bob's radio call as possible. Even if it meant hanging around for a couple or three hours before heading back. He really made the game come alive on the radio.

RIP Bob. Thanks for the memories...
