Season tickets revoked?

People move around. Just because some drunk was in a certain seat doesn't mean they had a ticket for that exact seat.

That's why if I ever have friends use my tickets, I always tell them never to produce them if there's an altercation. Let them throw you out if necessary, but don't produce your ticket if they ask.

Good advice.

I once brought a workmate to a preseason game. Unbeknownst to me, he decided to buy a couple more tickets in the same section for his wife and a friend. He and his wife proceeded to get drop-down drunk. Early on, the 2 of them got into a violent argument that was bad enough for others to take notice.

His wife took off down the ramp, he bolted after her saying they were going to take a taxi home, I had to sprint to catch up with them. When I finally reached them, I wanted the ticket. When he asked why, I told him that there was a good chance he may get stopped before they get to a taxi and I didn't want him to have the ticket when it happened. I was then left with his wife's friend who I didn't know, didn't know where she lived and it was more than awkward. Fortunately, she live nearby and we left early and I drove her home.

Soon after, they both went into rehab and have been sober for about 7 years. He doesn't recall that evening.

was the friend hot?

yeah the rule of thumb is lose the ticket if anything happens

I had a very strange experience at Gillette stadium for the AFC title game. My buddy and I were at the game and admittedly we were drinking. After Brady threw the Touchdown to take the lead obviously the place was going nuts and my buddy jumping up and down fell into the row in front of us. Most people were fine with it, he apologized and they helped him back up. However a lady two rows in front of us went to go complain to security.

At that point I asked my buddy if he wanted to start walking out and just finish watching the game as we were leaving to try and get a head start on traffic. As we were walking out the lady was complaining to security, but my buddy just told them that we were leaving now anyways. Security let us walk out and we didn't have any issues.

Here is where I am getting nervous. I bought the tickets from my boss who is a season ticket holder, he had two other seats and his buddies were there. His buddies told him that we got kicked out and now my boss is nervous I am going to get his season tickets revoked.

I know from another friend in an unrelated situation that if you get kicked out they actually escort you completely out of the stadium and they give you a letter of disinvite and you are supposed to take a course on stadium behavior before you can return. Nothing like this happened, we didn't have to show any ID or anything they just let us leave.

I told my boss that we were not kicked out and the there is literally no chance of his tickets being revoked. In my recollection we were acting like normal fans excited about the AFC championship and we left on our own accord, we watched the rest of the game from the corridor on the lower level and left without any pomp and circumstance. I believe we were able to get out of the parking lots a little bit faster because of our plan to start leaving a few minutes early but not miss the conclusion.

Is there a chance that he will have a problem with his tickets going forward?
Brady should be suspended for this.

We had a friend of a friend end up with us at a game, and this guy goes off to the railing area by the end zone where they used to let people smoke, and he lights up a joint.
We put an end to that quickly before he got caught. Idiot.. first and last time we took him along.

I don't think it's been determined as of yet, whether it's more probable than not, that he was generally aware of it.

He was there so don’t try to tell me he didn’t know. BB and Gronk probably started the whole thing.

I guess the general consensus is that if they don't pull your tickets they aren't going to revoke.

Anyone know how quickly they send out a notice that tickets have been revoked, I figured if I get to this weekend, I can assume he isn't going to get one.

I am pretty sure regardless of what happens, even though I told the truth, my boss will never ask me if I want to buy his tickets again lol.

Again, you left without being thrown out and there's no way for them to verify who you were or whose tickets you had.

It's fine.

I didn't include this in the background, but my boss himself already was notified once that he was going to have his tickets revoked for something he did at a previous game. He was formally rejected from the stadium in that circumstance and he presented his tickets.

He was able to write them a letter and they made him take the course and he also had to make a fairly sizable donation to a local charity to keep the tickets.

Anyways, now he thinks he is on some sort of shit list and that if any little thing happens they will revoke. I believe however your point still stands, they wouldn't revoke your tickets because someone around you complained, without them even talking to you and gathering your stub.

Sounds to me like none of you are responsible enough to hold season tickets, he should sell them to me!

I'm in the minority here, I know. I can't figure out why people need to go to a game and get drunk. Have a few beers and enjoy the game, sure.

Back in the 70's that use to piss me off and I decided that I was better off watching the game at home. The last few times I went to Gillette, it didn't seem to be a problem.

There are a lot of other places to get drunk and I've been to most of then. But when I go to a football game, I go to watch football.

And to the OP, you're screwed.ROFL

A course on stadium behavior sounds amazing. I wonder if they’d let me voluntarily attend to audit the content and more importantly see what kind of miscreants are forced to sit through this wonderland of education.

They absolutely know where you were sitting and whose tickets you had.

You've taken too many pokes in the eyes, Shemp.

Soytenly!!

No BS I know a yellow Jacket and They can see any seat at any time of the game. Years ago they installed Amazing HD soccer hooligans cameras in the joint. They also know when that ticket was scanned and every ticket scanner is filmed. So it is easy to match up the two.

They can tell you who had the tickets IF they want to know. They also know if the dame complaining is a habitual bitcher and could just give her ear service and not give a flying F@<¥

and every ticket scanner is filmed.

I find this hard to believe. Seems like overkill. Yeah, if someone committed a major crime and you needed the FBI to figure out if the suspect entered the stadium, you could do a lot of legwork and piece it together.

But just because a certain account's tickets were used doesn't mean trouble in those seats comes from the people who have those tickets. Like I said, people do plenty of moving around in that stadium.

What if you're a STH and you start a drunk fight in the concourse or the bathroom or at the drink rail? If you're not arrested (and are simply ejected) and you never produce a ticket to show security, they'll have no idea who you are. They won't be able to move against your account.
