Sarah and I took the girls to a local county lake yesterday for sand and water time. I had no idea how it would go. Would they wear their life jackets without having a fit, would they get in the water, would they freak out if they saw a fish, etc? Elizabeth took right to the water, jumping in it, holding onto me and going to a deeper section where she wouldn’t be able to touch. Olivia just wanted to play in the sand. On the sand front, I miss Pensacola sugar sand. The lake sand reminded me of Daytona beach, hard pack sand that was hard to walk in.
