LOL, those disingenuously pimping for a loss to better our draft position are full of shit. What they really want is a final humiliation for Belichick. I'd respect them more if they just admitted that, but they won't. They're cowards and phonies and, above all, they're not New England Patriot fans.

It's wayyyyy over the top and has been for quite some time.

I don't see any reason why it'll slow down anytime soon, either. It'll be "When will Bill be gone?" until we know that answer and
then it'll be "Kraft made a huge mistake" regardless of whether he keeps him or kicks him to the curb.

The media wants Bill gone because he's the one nut they cannot crack and all they want is heat and hits no matter how far
off from any objective truth they happen to be.

I skip 90% of the crap that I see, because I can tell what kind of crap they are selling just by reading the hook headline.

It must be a lot of fun for the media right now. A target-rich enviornment full of rubes that will buy whatever they are selling.

And if he does get fired, get ready for a dozen "Our long national nightmare is over" articles from the BSM. They smell blood in the water, and take it personally that he's spent 23 years not giving them their handjobs that they think they're entitled to.

There are valid reasons for Belichick staying or going - the fee-fees of the BSM aren't one of them.

Yes. I’m sure many of us have spent two decades posting about the Pats because we secretly hate the team and want them to lose. I guess that would make sense if you have the IQ of a Chihuahua.

EDIT: Of course the guy I’m quoting joined in 2015… right on the heels of a Super Bowl.

IMO this entire "story" is a nothingburger, the original "leak" on Mayo was from Bedard, who has no sources. Now it's other media, like the the mouth-breathing idiots at WEEI picking it up and asking Mayo about it like it was fact. It's a 100% media created narrative.

A pink hat named Ashley once called me a fake fan for cheering for Tom Brady to do well after he had the audacity to play for another team. She was a fucking idiot though.

Questioning the fandom of someone who thinks a loss will help the team in the long run is a bit much. I want a win too, but I certainly understand that a loss will help come April's draft. If a Patriots fan prioritizes the draft over a win this Sunday, it hardly makes him less of a fan...much less a coward. A coward?
