To start this off, Floyd is out.

Patriots inactives: WR Michael Floyd, CB Cyrus Jones, CB Justin Coleman, OT LaAdrian Waddle, RB D.J. Foster, QB J. Brissett, S J. Richards.

Less than two hours to kick off folks.

Mack is playing with a cracked fibula so lets see how long he lasts. And Jones does have that nasty toe injury.

Julio was a beast 2 weeks ago though he was suffering from that same injury. I wouldn't count on his being compromised. Mack could be different.

It's a simple numbers issue for Floyd not there. They wanted him in, but had to look at ST etc as they're going with 4 WRs

Mike Reiss @MikeReiss
In the end, the staff felt like they could only go with 4 WRs because of needs on special teams/goal-line offense. Edelman/Hogan locks...

1m
That left two spots for three receivers: Malcolm Micthell, Danny Amendola, Michael Floyd. In SB51, experience in system was trump card..

I think Malcolm Mitchell could have a big game today.

With Mack and his leg injury, you know Bill is like:

Ghost is hitting 56 yarders in the warm ups.

Just one hour to go!!!

Bummed that Floyd is not active.

I feel really confident but I'm still nervous as hell....

LET'S GOOOOO!!!!

Sweet Football Jesus, I am going to have to start eating avocado ice cream to withstand the stress of just waiting the outcome my team being in Super Bowl after Super Bowl. Exhausting!!! #patriotsfanproblems :coffee:

GO PATS!!!! :patriotlogo: :arrr:

If we win the toss what do you guys think we should do? I'd like us to defer. If we have a shitty first half we can start the comeback in the 2nd and if we have a good one we can step on their throats.

As far as my nerves go I'm actually doing really well. I pulled a Tom Brady and took a nap for a couple of hours, just ran up to Subway. Still gonna take my smack at kickoff but I was more nervous for the AFC Championship. Not saying the Falcons aren't dangerous, just saying I'm emotionally prepared if the worst should happen.

Take the ball first and put 7 on the board

Finally got WiFi. Was hard to find a spot that wasn't prebooked here but we did it. Waiting for our food and settling in to watch the drive for five.

LET'S GO!!

Don't want to fall behind right off the bat so I think we receive the ball and go score on them. See if it rattles Ryan although he appears pretty confident in interviews before the game.

Score first and keep the pedal to the metal.

I'm glad MMitchell is starting over Floyd bc of his experience in the offense.
Floyd could help in the RZ but we have Bennett, Lingel, Hogan, Edelman and Amendola so how much help could he be?
