Weekend getaway for draftniks - Pro Player Scouting Clinic

Pro Player Scouting Clinic

A three day weekend clinic in Indy June 17-19 at $165.00 teaching pro player scouting techniques in the classroom and on the field sounds like the perfect mini-vacation for more than a few PP members.

I got this notice today and figured I'd pass it on for anyone who may have interest.

Wow that's awesome AWTE. It would be like learning a language by dropping me off in the middle of the country as far as what I would probably "get" but it would be very interesting.
The one scout bio mentions he learned under Kuharich. I would love it if Kuharich was actually there though. IIRC he is the only scout/NFL FO guy (I think he was with KC then) who, when asked about the Pats trade for Moss, was very very very firm in his assessment that Moss hadn't lost a thing which was contrary to other things we heard floating out there.

I wish it were being held nearer to Boston. I'd take it in for sure. It'd be a pretty fun weekend if it was so far away (from where I am that is).

Well put. Looking through the brochure, though, B Billick as a keynote speaker is a bit off-putting. Would be fascinating to see how they teach a scout to scout, though.

[I definitely like the "three day weekend" idea!]

Thanks for posting, AWTE.
