How much wagering comes in on WWE?

Are there instances of one, or maybe a few players, refs or coaches who point shave? Maybe.

Does it make any sense to destroy all the legal gambling (and ultimately the league itself) to "script" a desired outcome?

Nope.

Because its a multi-billion dollar business.

The folks in charge are definitely NOT as pure as the driven snow, they absolutely act in their own best interests. Their best interests are for the game to be decided on the field.
 
We have allegations or suspicions of fixing games and you have legal gambling in which the NFL is getting their piece of the action.

Not sure how anyone thinks there won't be a trail of dots to connect between those two things, and sooner than later.

Yeah, it’s like GLARINGLY obvious by now…and the 1980’s documentary gives PROOF of it. So…yeah.

You seem to have your mind made up that this is true.

I know fore me, the minute I felt that way, I would tap out and never return. So my question to you is, why do you still have any interest in NFL football? The athletes are better but the product on the field certainly is not. So why stay?

Honest question as I want to understand you perspective better.

So my takeaway is that you love a good conspiracy over all else and that trumps any joy the on-field NFL product can provide for you.

I clearly said that the NFL is entertainment. It’s a way to pass the time on a Sunday. It’s akin to watching a fictional movie. It isn’t legit, but it is entertaining.

gambling "wins", as evidenced by those big shiny casino's. is the blackjack "scripted"? no, they just know how to set the line/game/etc so that people win enough to keep coming back, but that the casino/gambling sites make their (big) profit
