Pssst, did you happen to notice the smiley in my post? It was just a joke.

Calm down, brohammer.
Replace trolling with joking if that sits better with you.

All I ****ing meant was that it's not like you were genuinely interested in the forum policies of some board full of mouthbreathing manning fans.

I would give an offensive edge in the passing game to you guys, I like our running game a bit more, mostly due to its depth, and change of backs that both have different skill sets. But yeah usually when you set a few records on offense, you get that edge over most.
I am not sure what to think about this, BUT, I am watching ProFootballTalk this afternoon and I swear I see the ticker at the bottom of the screen saying, "Tickets for the AFC Championship game will be sold only to residents of the rocky Mt area." I am sure all of you can't afford to go, but the ones that can, that would really be a pisser if that's true. Anybody else see anything on that?

OK, it's time for a Public Service Announcement.

When on an Internet forum, if you reply to someone's post (like me), that person just may just think you were directing your reply to them. If you don't want the person to think you were talking to them, it is best to avoid quoting that person in the reply.

I hope this has been a valuable lesson, and I was glad to be of service to you all.

We will now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

:)

Trolling to me, is going to another board and blasting into them....trolling to me is not sitting on the board of the team I root for and defending them when a fan of another team comes here, maybe I am wrong. I do not go to other board, even after a win, basically I do not want to deal with them to be honest. I have grown tired of the same replies.

Apparently both Denver and Seattle are doing this. Denver refusing to sell tickets outside of Rocky Mtns area and Seattle refusing to sell tickets to people in California.

Pansies.

I didn't see that reported, but I did see that the Chargers just jumped offsides again.

:D

I'll give you the proper definition of trolling.
"posting with the deliberate intent of provoking an emotional response" -- like I said, I don't care if you use the term joking instead. Whatever makes you happier.

I do not post to get a reaction out of anyone, I post on what I believe is true. If you want to see what it looks like to post to get a reaction out of someone, look at the people who reply to any of my posts on this board.

Sounds like a personal problem. :coffee:

So you really, honestly, believed that their forum had a policy of not talking shit about Peyton Manning?

Wes Welker will take the field this weekend against some old friends.
The Denver Broncos wide receiver returned to game action Sunday, but he wasn't interested into getting into the minutia of his future matchup with the New England Patriots.

"NFL Replay" will re-air the Patriots' 34-31 win over the Broncos in Week 12 on Monday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. ET and again on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 12 a.m. ET.

"It's the AFC Championship Game. There's going to be plenty of juice," he said, per the New York Daily News. "It doesn't get any bigger than that."

For a man who said he was relieved to be able to speak freely to the media after he left New England, Welker was rather Belichickian in his responses about his former team.
The slot receiver didn't take the bait when asked about the Broncos' 34-31 overtime loss in Foxborough earlier this year, in which he mismanaged a punt leading to the loss.
"We've moved on," he said. "That was regular season. This is postseason."

Peyton Manning helped the Broncos overcome a 14-0 deficit to earn a thrilling 51-48 win on the road against the Cowboys in Week 5. Was it the best moment of 2013?

Tom Brady said he didn't plan on contacting his former No. 1 receiver before the matchup either.

"We'll save all the pleasantries until after the season," Brady said Monday morning on WEEI-FM.
Welker said he knew he had a chance to play for a Super Bowl trip when he signed with the Broncos in the offseason, but he wasn't keying on beating the Patriots to get there.

"No, I had no idea," Welker said. "I came here and knew we would have an opportunity to be in the situation and was trying to make the most of it."
Welker usually likes to have fun with the media, but he clearly was trying to avoid putting his foot in his mouth. We'll see if he holds that stance as the week progresses.

Mike Adams just does not see a comparison....

FOXBOROUGH -- Denver Broncos safety Mike Adams sees a huge difference between Wes Welker, his teammate, and Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman.

The two slot receivers are keys for the success of their teams, but short of how the Patriots use Edelman, Adams doesn't see much similarity between the two.

“I can’t compare the two because Wes is -- he’s something special," Adams told the Denver media. "He can jive up the ball and then speed out and have you off-balance.

"Edelman, he doesn’t do that. He’s a one-speed guy. He doesn’t have the same ability or the quickness that Wes has in the slot. I guess that is the main difference between them. But I don’t know if they use him the same as they used Wes because they’re totally different players."

Adams sees Edelman as the Patriots' biggest receiving threat, then Danny Amendola and running back Shane Vereen.

"We’ll have our hands full and this is going to be a battle," Adams said. "I’m prepared for it.”

That's very friendly advice.

Both NE and Denver have lost players to injury. The difference between the two teams in regard to that fact is that NE has more depth than Denver, and have players with game experience ready to step up.

I also believe Peyton started like gang-busters this season in order to prove to himself that he could still compete, but this season has taken a toll on him physically and mentally. If NE's defense is as aggressive as it was vs Luck, it'll be a very long game for Peyton.

This is not the match-up he wanted, at all.

Not a matchup he wanted at all! Understatement.

I think Manning craves another ring because (I think) Manning wants to be universally acclaimed the GOAT. I think he is shocked, chagrined and more than a little pissed off that fate allowed a lowly 6th rounder to insert himself into what Manning deemed "his era".

Tom Brady has certainly stolen much of the thunder that, otherwise, would probably belong to Peyton. And I think there is a burning resentment of sorts, not necessarily directed towards Brady, but rather, towards fate itself. Manning's body language says it all, and betrays his innermost feelings.

No, not the matchup he wanted. I think he'd rather have his fingernails ripped off one by one or his balls crushed in a vise, than face Brady again, given the choice!

And that pressure, that burning need to "show the world" is probably (hopefully) what does him in again, as it has on so many other occasions.

Man, is that a lot of conjecture. Not sure what you're basing that on.

He's spoken very highly of Brady when asked, and sincerely. They're friends off the field.
