Rolando McClain

That's a little scary, that they were willing to offer him that much. I like McClain as a player, not $4 million for 1 year like though.

And add to the fact that he could likely give AHern a run for his money in the stable part...

I wonder if Mayo is resisting the idea of a restructure.
When is he scheduled to take his physical. Once he does he be given options restructure . Bb will be looking to trade or release him.

I'm absolutely certain Mayo has already been approached about next year. Waiting for his physical is a formality.

He's being fined four game checks with no suspension. Also, on Hightower, the report that he would be out 6 to 7 months came out at the beginning of February, so he likely would be back, possibly for game 1.

Labrum surgery (which I am about to have) is no picnic. Recovery times long or longer depending on how far around the the tear is (mine is 1-195 degrees top to bottom, ugh).

But...but....but....it makes no sense to get cap savings you'd just use on a replacement.
if a see a better player and cap savings i will admit i was wro.. wr.....not correct

They may trade up in the first round then. Or try to talk Patrick Willis out of retirement or something. :coffee:
i have had a feeling about yhis from the day the retirement was announced... he wants out if SF and the chaos and retired instead of playing in that defense suddenly missing pieces.
