Looking at the Patriots - 2020

Saw this posted on another forum. Pretty much underscores how awful Bill has been in the draft recently.

Rivers was # 83 in 2017

Here are a few of the skill (WR/TE) players taken after him:

Chris Godwin # 84
Kareem Hunt # 86
Kenny Golliday # 96
George Kittle # 146

The Pats with this epic running game have a crazy good 3rd and 1 percentage. At one point yesterday they said it was something like 13 0f 14 this year.

Didn't they have a problem with that last year? Don't rightly remember with all that's gone on since.

"After waiving 2017 third-round pick Derek Rivers and 2019 fourth-round pick Hjalte Froholdt on Saturday, the Patriots might have hoped to bring both back to their practice squad, but that won't be happening. Rivers was claimed on waivers by the Rams on Monday, while Froholdt was claimed by the Texans."

dafuq? sighs...

Welp, fat lady now heard singing. I've endured rotten seasons before and will stagger through this one too. It has been one heck of an amazing ride, but what goes up, must come down. GO PATRIOTS.

I don’t mind Cam for another few years, but it’s absolutely essential to get a decent guy who can grow into a starter.
Mahomes and Rodgers were had in the mid first. It happens.

This is imperative...BB needs to get another awesome QB. Newton can be the bridge QB I guess.

Just saw a rumor that both Hightower and Cannon will retire after this season. Can't seem to post the tweets.

Yeah. Not surprising if they both hang it up. I expect both McCourty's to be gone and Chung and Slater too. Complete blank slate for Bill next year.
Chung needs to retire, he just cannot stay healthy anymore.
