I like the athletes root for to be a little arrogant, or even a lot arrogant if they can back it up.

I am not going to get offended if one I don't root for does the same thing.
I understand and respect your pov here, but this desire SOUNDS unlikely arrogate and unreasonable and cannot, IMO fail to motivate each little team to play to their very best.

I think that's the point, it can't benefit you in any way to state in publically, I mean there is nothing to be gained from it. But it can definitely hurt you as you're giving teams that smidgen more motivation. Every DE and LBer who sacks Mahomes now will be yelling that back in his face for the season.

I misread the list. I didn't realize he was predicting this year. I thought it was last year.
Seems like a lesson in futility as who knows who will have a break out year on any team. I agree about our TEs and Judon being candidates. Doesn't this author hate the Pats though?
 

LOL. So true. I have always said this but in sports and in life too, it is much more difficult to handle success than failure. Our egos take over and we start feeling ourselves. As Proverbs says, "pride goes before the fall."
