Brandon Parker, a spokesman for the NFLPA, said this week that the union "didn’t believe a mandate was necessary" and that "a more reasonable approach with the players would resonate."

"We believed that a mandate would not be in the best interest of the players because of the better approach of education," Parker said via email.

"We prefer everyone get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families, but our union respects the choice of players."

The league, however, gave an enormous incentive to get the vaccine in July, when it announced that COVID-19 outbreaks among non-vaccinated players during the 2021 season could lead to forfeits and loss of pay if games cannot be rescheduled.

And yet here we have vaccinated players getting covid will they have to forfiet. This article was written yesterday its the mandate and the union believes it should be left up to the players.

Honestly, I could careless what Cam has to say. He's no longer plays for the Pats, unless of course, he's anouncing he's coming back as the back up ....
Which I highly doubt but you never know. Im not so sure what I would need popcorn for but have at it.

Yes. We both have children in our lives. Hence why making fun of kids when you actually don't know if people have them is quite honestly pathetic and sad. Thought you were above that sort of thing Dee.

I always keep things to football up here. Personal attacks are very sad and usual a symptom of folks who no longer feel they are winning the argument IMO.
