That's really unfortunate because White is likely the only one on this offiese for which Josh can calls plays that highlight that player's particular skillset.

He's a rookie. In one of Brady's first few games, he threw four picks. And he was not even a rookie. He'd had a year in the system. Peyton Manning did start as a rookie (like Jones). Peyton went 3-13.

Chill. Mac'll be fine. We all knew he'd have some rookie-like games.
 
One issue is they are not yet good enough to stop a team's best weapons and make them play left handed. Kamara had a decent game, and Harris has that huge return. Or try to neutralize a player giving them in game issues D. Davis was a one man wrecking crew.
 
I sound like a broken record, but we need to fix ST urgently, especially on kick off/punt return coverage. We're allowing big runbacks and if it is not fixed we're going to see scores made against us. And Bailey was quite poor again. I can't understand how punters in good field positions allow the punts to go for touchbacks. And again, putting the kick out of bounds is unforgivable at this level.

Matt Slater needs to kick some ass.

Trevor Lawrence has thrown 7. Has a 60 rating.
Zach Wilson has thrown 7. Has a 50 rating.
Trey Lance has thrown 1 pass. He can't get on the field.
Justin Fields was God awful yesterday with a 30% comp. rate. Has a 40 rating. He shouldn't be on the field. Lost soul.
Mac Jones has thrown 3. He's still completing 68% of his passes for the year. Has a 79 rating.

So what's your point? Which rookie would you rather have?

I am not sure why there is such a rush to try to white wash Mac every game. He had a bad game. A very bad game. It happens. He is a rookie playing against a really good Saints D and a coach in Payton who feasts on rookie QBs. He will learn from it and get better. He seemed really emotional at the end which concerns me. He seems to be so hard on himself that he is letting it effect his demeanor. I really don't get a sense that he really provides any type of emotional spark for this team yet because he is so focused on his own play understandably. Hopefully that comes in time. I would have like to see him get up in the grill a few times with Smith who was awful.
 
Most of us saw that it wasn't Mac who was awful.
The OL was awful.
His receivers gave him little help.
Why stop running the ball so early when it was working?

Put blame where it belongs.
 
The Sony trade looks worse by the day.
