Patriots Free Agency 2023

So Jakobi out Julu in...Everyone talking how we need an actual #1, the question is who maybe available and actually fits that mold? In my opinion none of the projected Rd1 WRs fit the mold; everyone is talking about Jeudy who looks like another slot guy; DHop maybe, but I don't love the over the 30yrWR that wants money, and he has supposedly said he wants to go somewhere with an established QB.

Who would actually move the needed for this WR corps?

I am starting to feel the same way. We all WANT a WR1 still, but does BB? BoB? Do they look around the room and say JuJu, Parker, Bourne, Thornton, Henry, Mondre and two draft picks (WR/TE) are enough potential targets?

They just might at this point.

A lot of folks were screaming bloody murder the last few days as the Patriots have taken a more slow roll approach but if you look what they've actually done pre-draft, I think it's been very good. They've improved two important areas so far (OL/WR) and they re-signed an important cog in the defensive backfield - without hamstringing themselves for the vast amount of time between now and camp. Now they can draft and trade with less urgency than the other teams. In negotiations that plays a large part in how you win get things done in your own favor.

Almost 44 days until the draft. Does anyone think the NFL or the Pats will remain static?

If they want to be competitive, they need more weapons...that is all.

Remember 2007? The Pats picked up a #1 receiver, Randy Moss (they also picked up Wes Welker). Their receiving crew in 2006 wasn't good (the qb, Brady, did pretty well, anyway. Is there anything like Randy Moss available? (Moss's team, the Raiders, had enough of him, by that point). Now, I'd say at the time, Moss was a top 5 receiver (although he did have a record 23 td receptions in 2007 with the Patriots). Is there a receiver as good as him, on a team that doesn't care about him enough? Not that it might matter, considering the Patriots current quarterback-not the worst, and not one of the best.

Someone tie the retweet by Damien Harris back to Harris not coming back to the Patriots. Please.

Edit: never mind, I figured it out. I'm having a slow night.

No, definitely about Josh. It's talking about how Josh traded Waller and how Josh leaked Waller's wedding etc to the media. it literally has nothing to do with the Patriots.
i thought harris retweeted a darius slay tweet?
slay was known to have had issues with patricia in det.

Patricia ran him out on a rail. Just another stupid move by Patricia. Put him in the same dog House he put Bourne in last year, except Darius had the ability to leave.

I’ve always liked Robinson, and I’ll enjoy cheering for him.

But what about the RBs drafted last year?

Is this about pass protection?
