I think Harbaugh was always going to the chargers. I don’t think he had real interest in the falcons. In terms of Bill, it has been reported that the entire front office didn’t want him. That kind of put Blank between a rock and a hard place.
No rational organization is going to give Bill complete control over their roster. They aren't blind, I know there are ***** here that want to believe Bill had nothing to do with the roster over the last 4 years but reality doesn't change just because you want it to. Every team in the league was laughing their ass off as Cole Strange was picked, it's no surprise Bill won't be coaching next season.
