So Penix was overdrafted by a round and a half, I think. McCarthy's overdrafted by 3 rounds at least.
At least with Penix, I get it, he can truly redshirt a year with Cousins there, and you can get back the year with the option, but man, 8 is awfully high to take him.

Drafting Maye makes this even right now my favorite Pats draft since the Hightower Jones combo. I remember exactly where I was that night.
Dunno, I was stoked with the Gonzo pick last year. Stoked. Then his azzz got hurt against the Cowgirls but it was a blessing in disguise.
