If they were taking a high quality tackle in this draft, yes, but at this point, I have to wonder if you're going to have to take the best Edge or something, because there's a shit ton of defensive talent out there (obviously, because none have been taken yet).

The only one I'd trade up for is Mims from Georgia, but I can't imagine he's going to last much longer.

Sure. But if you're going to redshirt him, taking him in the first makes some sense....although taking him at 8 is clownshoes. Then again, this whole draft is clownshoes at this point. Bo Fucking Nix at 12. JJ McCarthy at 8. What are we even doing?
