Hey, I know I'm late. Can I get in by picking a team playing a Monday game? If so I pick the Lions. If not just tell me so and crush my life long dream of winning this thing.

Man, I'm not sure, but I think that the number of people that were eliminated by one team in one week may have been broken by those who picked the Bears this weekend.

on Mike and Mike someone (Jaws?) mentioned that the Bears and Saints killed a lot of peoples Suicide Pools (mostly Bears).
I picked Eagles so I'm still alive, but had Saints in the casino cash thread.... oops.

I did the math, 37% of the participants were eliminated in week one! ouch!

I had the Steelers and figured I had it easily when after 2 quarters and they were up 27-0, then in between cursing that putrid performance by the Pats, I look down and see that the Browns had tied the game!

Since you haven't posted since June, except for yesterday's game thread, I figure it's safe to say you missed this thread, so sure. Lions it is.
 
Good grief. Pats lose week 1 and the Bills (the BILLS!!!!) beat the Bears to knock me and half of the Planet out......
 
We might need a second chance suicide league. Now that a lot of people are gone.

I believe we usually do this after the first one has run its course (which shouldn't take long at the rate we're going).

I think last year was the first time it was done. Everyone was eliminated very early in the season
 
Week 1: Eagles
Week 2: Broncos

PS. Hope I lose this week.
 
Week 1: Houston Texans
Week 2: Denver Broncos
