It’s been a year and a half since I’ve mentioned Brady, and I don’t hate anyone. I cheer for the patriots and I think Belichick has made a lot of personnel decisions that have made this team worse despite the fact that he’s good at coaching up talent that doesn’t belong in the NFL. Mazz and I are not working together. Sometimes we have opinions that overlap, but not always, and especially with regard to keeping and paying for high end skill positions. (I tend to think high end WRs and RBs aren’t worth the money). I’ve read this forum everyday for over ten years, and no I haven’t read many people in here knocking the Thornton pick. Maybe Mazz did, I can’t remember, we don’t answer for each other, or communicate, and I won’t pretend to express his or her opinion. Personally, I was ecstatic about Thornton and view him as a happy departure from 15 years of atrocious drafting at the position.
That said it does seem like Mazz and I are the only ones here skeptical as heck about Judge and Patricia being so involved in the offense. I didn’t particularly like McDaniels, but it’s like going from eating a decent but plain turkey sandwich you’ve had every day for 15 years to spam on a stale cracker.
Either way I didn’t mean to side track this thread on training camp news with my opinion on how the offense looks so far. It’s just an opinion. Everyone should should get back to the “Mac jones is our QB1” thing. We need to enjoy him while he’s on a rookie contract.
