I always welcome these tracker sites. They are handy bc they do the work for us.

I don't have a binkie in this draft but if you do, take a look, maybe your binkie is there.

Thanks, buddy. I have a few binkies on this list. I haven't gone through the entire yet.

I read through all of the reports (thanks for posting), but what they reiterated what I've been feeling -- that there just aren't a lot
of guys that don't have significant question marks. For instance, I saw Emmanuel Forbes mocked as the 4th player to come off the
board just yesterday, but he is consistently listed as 166 pounds and his ankles appear like matchsticks. Is he going to be able
to hold up to the pounding? Paris Johnson is a fluid OT with good size and feet to be a top pass blocker, but it's obvious watching
him that his upper-body strength isn't great and he struggles to contain physicality. Brian Branch looks like a likely Patriot in a lot
of ways, but he ran very slow 40s at the Combine. Shouldn't that be a concern? On and on it goes. Sure things are few and far
between.

One guy who is sort of a binkie of mine at this point is Darnell Wright the OT from Tennessee. My understanding is that we have
talked with him twice and his "issue" is 8.5 inch hands, described as among the smallest ever in a guy with good OT size, but that
doesn't seem to affect his game at all to my eyes. If we took him at 14 I wouldn't blink, but I would if we take Johnson.

Barth's list was interesting because it contains a lot of day 3 types as opposed to focusing on the top 50. Also, trying to make a
connection between guys we've had formal interviews with and actually selected has little discernable pattern over the years, so
I just read it to try and get a general handle on what these guys are as prospects and compare that info to what other sources
say. None are identical, but Barth's source or sources seem more or less in line with other opinions that I've seen on some of these
prospects.

Here are some recent Top 30 prospect meetings:

QB Hendon Hooker (Tennessee) 58 TDs with only 5 ints. + 1000 yds & 10 TDs rushing in 2 yrs at Tenn. has to be intriguing for BB. Fearless in the pocket. If he slides bc of injury, might BB grab him in the 2nd?
OG Antonio Mafi (UCLA)
DE K.J. Henry (Clemson)
RB Aidan Borguet (Harvard)
DT Scott Matlock (Boise State)
S Jamie Robinson (Florida State)
DE Dylan Horton (TCU)

While I don't usually pay a lot of attention to the Pats' pre-draft interviews, because I don't see any pattern to
it over the years, I have noticed the attention paid to Zay Flowers, which seems like a lot.

He played locally, we had him at the Shrine Bowl, he showed that he is a top guy by doing everything asked and
we had him in Foxboro the other day going through the playbook and meeting everybody. Word on the street is that he is
rising.

I think it's plausible that we will trade down into the late first. Zay Flowers is one of a small group of people that I think we
could target with a pick around the mid 20's while picking up a high 2nd rounder to pair with 46.

I tried to watch Van Ness against Michigan and came away thinking Michigan must have a very good Oline because Van Ness did virtually nothing.

Daniel Jeremiah and associates love the player.

He hasn’t DONE anything yet.

They are calling him a top 15 pick????

Please, no. He's a pass rush specialist who has never put in the time to develop a range of pass rush moves. He either beats you with his speed to power or he's done. A 1st round pick who hasn't even totaled 900 snaps over two years, really? Who has never started a game?

He's a bully, who doesn't love or respect the game, and doesn't develop his own game. Let the Jets take him; we'll run Mondre right at him whenever he's on the field.

Daniel Jeremiah has Matlock in the 4th, could be third round, as one of his favorites.

Chase Winovich, which Travis Kelce's douchebagginess.

Yeah, I don't get the fascination with a Herculean workout warrior who couldn't earn starter status on his own team. Sure, the pundit experts seem to think his best football is in front of him. If I'm a GM there's no way I'm betting a 1st round pick on a guy who came out a year too soon with only 1 tool in his toolkit. The way I look at him is if he can be easily developed in the NFL why didn't he show any sign of development at Iowa?
