Dude you ok up there? Hearing it was a big one.
We are good but we have major damage in south central, roads, buildings, you name it has been severely damaged. We lost a lot of personal stuff but we are alive, not been so terrified in my life.

Too soon probably, but you know it was Trumps fault.
Be well.
Cheers

16 aftershocks so far and they are not mild. Earthquake was 10 miles north of Anchorage which puts it very close to our place. It was sheer luck that this happened on my day off and I was able to take care of my 90yo MIL. We are very concerned about our cabin but have no way of checking on it right now. Appreciate y'alls thoughtfulness.

Feel for you. Stay safe.
We were 2 mile from the epicenter. The earth just kept rocking. We never know if it was going to be worse or not. We set up camp in a tent in our front yard for weeks.
One thing about this ... you get to know your neighbors and you become life long friends.
Stay safe.

That was a different one but that one was so strong it swayed our chandilier (sp) in the San Fernando valley (LA area). Earthquakes are the worst, you just never know when they hit...
And the frieght train sound... it's acually louder and so. friggin. violent.
Sorry What AK is going thru is bringing back some terrifying memories....
I had a 6 year old and a 2 year old when I went thru it... the Northridge one.
