Bill and Kraft part ways

This season was a big fuck you from Belichick to Grandpa Hand Job and his football genius son for meddling.

You want Mac? You got him.

Now Gramps has his diversity hire coach and his female EVP to keep an eye on things for him. It won't lead to winning, but the Boston Globe is ready to give him humanitarian awards. John Henry and Bob Kraft. What a pair!
I HATE how all of this has transpired and it's intently unfair and borderline cruel on Bill Belichick.

He'll be fine. The Falcons are in the same QB situation as us. But they have a lot more offensive skill talent. And Bill will be able to bring in a vet QB without interference from the hand job midget.

On BB wanting to trade Mac Jones last year
He was actively shopping Mac Jones after the '22 season but ownership wanted to see what Mac could do under BOB. He said other teams were definitely interested in trading for Mac.
BB wanted to sign a veteran, (I've heard it was Mayfield). Of course, ownership stopped the trade and asked that BOB be brought in.

Jerod's succession clause
Late last season ('22) it was known the Kraft's wanted to bring in BOB and conveyed that to BB. That changed the dynamic in the organization and got BB thinking the culture
that he had built was being eroded quickly by the Krafts. BB began thinking he no longer wanted to be there as long ago as before the end of the '22 season. The baseball bat incidents
further indicated that BB's authority and influence was being eroded from the inside. BB knew it. The succession plan reinforced BB to think Jonathan was becoming a bigger voice and had gotten his way with RKK to part ways with BB.

On Jonathan Kraft
At a meeting before the end of the '22 season Jonathan let it be known that he was done with BB. JK called BB a flaming asshole and proclaimed he was done with BB. JK later denied that but plenty of people were there to hear it. He thinks there's a case to be made that Jonathan exerted his influence with RKK to get BB ousted and for Jerod to be the successor.

On Mayo's speech
A lot of BB's supporters in the front office were angry over some of the things Mayo said. They thought Mayo was being controlled as to what to say. The entire staff (scouts, coaches, etc.) was instantly divided regarding BB's prior historic success. They thought it could have been handled better.

On where BB goes
He wanted to see BB go to Dallas to get them over the hump to further tweak the Krafts. He thinks it is likely that BB let it be known he wasn't interested in going to Dallas through back channels. He thinks Atlanta is likely now that McCarthy is back with Dallas.

Actually Ridder's better than Mac Jones. I think they'll upgrade the position, but even if they don't, a little coaching up on both sides of the ball, and there's no reason they can't win that division.

Honestly, fuck Seth Wickersham. He's lied so many times, it's impossible to believe anything he says regarding anything.
