Colts Made the Accusation of Deflated Balls

What if the NFL announces that other teams tried to set up NE, but their reports were found to be unsubstantiated and exaggerated, and the NFL has decided to destroy all evidence regarding who the teams reporting the 'evidence' were, and no sanctions would be levied against those teams?

Too much outside pressure to destroy any evidence for even Goodell. I don't care about sanctions against the squealer but I'd love to have the squealer held up to public scrutiny and ridicule for something so petty.

Goodell has shown he plays fast and loose with evidence, as a rule. Why would he change tactics now?

I'm thinking more about how such action by the NFL would keep debate going amongst fans. We NE fans would say we know who started it, and opposing fans would say there is no proof as to who started it. It would definitely heat up some rivalries.

Will last weeks preseason game, as Troy Brown called it, hurt the momentum the pats had?

I don't think so they were going in as underdogs now it's us against the world

The NFL is blind to science.

I posted this on 1/23...I think BB is doing some serious trolling of our board

To quote you, its funny you present this as fact. It is a fact that some balls were under inflated. It is not a fact, at this point, that it was to help with a competitive advantage.

At least try to be consistent in your own argument.

But it is indeed a fact. Anyone with half of a brain can figure out that the aerodynamics of the ball indeed would change.

If there was less air in a basketball, would it be harder to dribble.

If there wasn't as many string surrounding the core of a baseball (or even like a softball) would it change speeds?

Come one Pats fans. This was intentionally done. Brady could have been practicing all week with deflated balls because they thought they would get away with it. Its pathetic the commissioner lets this go on. Absolutely pathetic.

So when the tires on your car have lost air pressure overnight, it is a fact that one of your neighbors took some air out?

No need to waste any time on dawsonsdouchebag.

Difficult, maybe. But not impossible, and certainly not impractical.

How much does the NFL care about this?

Now that it's been firmly established to the masses (at least any with a brain) that football pressure is effected by weather conditions, and it's not unusual for football pressure to change during a game.

What do you wanna bet the league starts telling the media that a couple PSI deviation is no big deal. Irony.

Remember, Goodell pushed for the first Superbowl in a cold weather city. He just lucked out that NY got unusually good weather that weekend. I wonder if they had checked ball pressure at halftime what the results would have been?

To the haters who keep saying it was intentionally done.....

It's so easy to say that, and then walk away back to your crappy football team... But can you explain how the Patriots deflated the ball after the refs inspected them..?

1-Balls are inspected.

2-Balls are given to ball boys who walk out to the game with the refs.

3- Balls are then only used for the game.

Is Bill Belichick Harry F***ing Potter?

It's funny you present this as fact.

It had nothing to do with the memo - the memo was brought to their attention and they still cheated. Its amazing how fools who support this team are so ignorant when it comes to the reality of the matter.

It just the same - Patriots fans will say that deflating balls had no impact on the game and the outcome would be the same. This is not a fact - the outcome "could" have been the same, but the reality of the matter is there was a reason those balls had less air in them and it was to help with a competitive advantage.

Ok DooshbagTouchHole. Explain 1 thing.

In the second half, balls of correct pressure were played. We outscored 28 to fvcking nothing. 28. 0. Twenty eight. Nada. Do you understand? With balls of proper inflation. Approved by the leagues monitoring crew.

Apparently we only hurt ourselves playing. With under inflated balls. We couldve been in the 70s.

The question is not "does it offer a competitive advantage?" In some respects it does (ball handling), in some respects it doesn't (less air resistant).

The question is if it was intentionally done for a competitive advantage. There are no facts that it was. It is speculation on your part that it was. And you are asserting your speculation as fact.
