Per WEEI. Traded for a 1st, 6th, and maybe a 4th? Sorry, hearing this second hand.

Sounds like Cooks and our 4th. for the Rams 1st and 6th round picks. I don't like them giving up the 4th.
 
Rams had the 23rd pick. So the Pats now have 23, 31, 43, 63.
The Pats must be targeting someone that they don't think will make it down to 31.
 
What a long, illustrious career as a Pat. When do you think we'll retire his jersey? :coffee:

unfortunately (and unfairly) I'll remember him for that ill-fated leap attempt in the SB (and getting knocked silly).
 
Do not like this move but what are you gonna do.
 
Well, at least he's in the NFC and we won't see him much. I bet there's more to come.
 
Cooks is a very good player but he was going to be too expensive to retain after this season. So, I can see why he was traded. However, our current receiver position is filled with guys who weren't exactly pictures of health last year. And, one of them is on the wrong side of 30 while coming back from an ACL tear, playing a position that heavily relies on his quick cutting ability. Add a TE who also isn't exactly a reliable health option historically and ..... I am a little uneasy at the moment.

Hogan is much better running the Outside routes than what he was running last season, when healthy. Hogan fights for the ball. Cooks doesn’t.

The journalists seem to agree that this is BB loading up on picks to make a move for a QB.

But which QB in the trade??
