We have been told that any sports team that uses American Indian mascots are racist. All the focus seem to be on the Washington Redskins, and I've never heard the of the Chiefs being called racist but here is what they do.
They are certainly targeting the American Indian with their name. Do they act like or look like Fire Chiefs ? Or, Police Chiefs? No they put an arrowhead on their helmets so they can mock and demean American Indians.
They even call their stadium Arrowhead! They beat an replica of an American Indian drum before the games! It's not just the team but the fans use an American Indian chant and a mock tomahawk chop.
The whole team and fans reeks f putting down American Indians but they get away with it. Why? Has not the time come for the media & human rights groups to call out the team, the players and their fans for why they really are?
Do they even deserve to win an AFCCG and then advance to the biggest sporting event in the world and continue to mock and demean an entire race of people?
