I can only speculate, but if you are a "hot" coordinator, the temptation to take "a" job as opposed to waiting for "the" job is probably strong, but getting into a positive situation is far more important.

That's the unusual thing with a Joshy though. He was the hot coordinator, and took 'a' job, and it didn't work out. And, within a year of his firing, he was the hot coordinator yet again, and has been ever since. You know, because his offense is good every year.

So long as Matty stays here, and that defense only gets better, he'll stay a hot name. :shrug:
