I think it is important to note that Maroney comes from one of the toughest sections of St. Louis which is a town with some very tough sections and that's just the way they roll down there. I guess.

So far from what I can see-- Laurence is keeping it real, so we don't need no playa hatahs, especially those from any Cali hoods.

The more I learn about Maroney the more I LOVE Addai.

When Polian said he wanted Addai all along I thought he was just blowing smoke, but as I watched the highlights of Maroney & Addai and now reading his myspace page I truely believe Addai is much better of the 2. Addai looked great against much tougher competition running and catching the ball. I don't think Polian was BSing. Addai looks like the total package. Perfect for our offense.

It's the new Myspace slang that bugs me more than the ghetto slang. They're making the ghetto slang from our youth look like Shakespearian sonnets!
 
Any of you folks ever BEEN to East Saint Louis?

That he made it out of there, in one piece, speaks volumes about the kid. Obviously the myspace words proves that he IS still a kid.

The team will take care of this, I believe. Or we'll have another T. Glenn on our hands. I don't think it's that bad. And to compare the 'slang' on the myspace board to intelligence, never mind Wonderlic scores...I mean, geez, the dude is trying to open up...not taking some test to prove his intelligence. Is it immature to post what he did on myspace? Heck, I can't say. I don't have a myspace...but there are a LOT of people my age that do.

I do software stuff 8-10 hours a day. THe LAST thing I want to do when I get home is be on a computer. I come here, because this seems to be the ONLY Patriots (nay, sports) board that appears to have people who actually surprise me, with honest threads, with intelligence hidden behind humor, and with a minimum of vitriole and hate.

And that, my friends, is rare on a message board--any message board. And I appreciate it.

Just to be clear here, I don't think that any of the actual messages on Maroney's myspace were posted by him. He apparently just created the bare bones shell. They are all seemingly from friends and supporters, so anyone blaming him for the content is off base.

The kid did nothing wrong by creating it and seems to be a hard-working dude with a great attitude and some serious football chops, so let's hope people don't pick on him because his friends talk some serious shit.

Dang, tha rock... You're in Modesto, eh? My bro lives in Turlock. You're practically neighbors.

Knowing where Modesto is.... you have one helluva ride to go to a Raiders game. Coming out of the central valley, through that pass and into any of the cities is one of the worst traffic events in the world. Just sick amounts of traffic. It took us 3-1/2 hours to get from Turlock to San Jose.

You know, I actually signed up for myspace at one point, but never got around to making my page. I did finally get me a real domain and set up my own blog though.

Guess I oughta go fix up the myspace thing too, though.
