Does anyone else have complaints about the side effects of Viagra?
I began making use of the stuff about a year n’ a-half ago due to my
Psychiatric medication affecting my libido. ( I won’t mention that the woman
I’m seeing, is ALWAYS wanting it. - Me. Not the Viagra).

The Day following the first time I used it, I was seeing brighter colors and
Different hues of blue around objects. Reminded me of my youth. The worst
Side effects for me have been the nasty heartburn the following day. Thank you Rolaids!

I’ve been wonderin’ - does the size of your manhood determine how big a dose of Viagra
one should ingest? Or, is the proper dose predetermined by the aggression of your mate? :)

I would imagine it would matter as to how easy and/or hard it would be inserting those pills up Mr. Johnson to take effect.

I myself have no need for the blue devils since it has been established for me that I be on a Permanent Sperm Retention Program ( Marriage )

They say that there is a food that will dramtically lower a womans sex drive virtually overnight. It's called wedding cake. :thumb:

What size dose do you take? One morning a few years ago an older man (I'm 51) was sitting next to me at the counter in a local resturant chatting with me while consuming his ham an egg breakfast. He got on to the subject of viargra and asked me If I used that med yet. I told him that I didn't YET but with blood pressure meds it probably was a matter of a few more years and I would most likely have to and from what i had heard it was expensive. He told me that Viagra came in two dosage sizes 50mg and 100mg. and that each was the same price for a given number of pills. He said that what he did was to have his Dr write him a script for 10 100mg tablets and then he would just cut each tablet in half and take a half tablet. He said that each 1/2 tablet was then 50mg and that 50mg worked fine for him thus he had cut his price in half per woody. I told him I'd keep that in mind when the time came, thanked him for his tip and got the hell out of that place....lol :D

Well, Spent, I don't know about the effects of Viagra inside, but have you seen a mirror lately? Your hair looks like Don 'I ain't no felon' King. You should do something about that. That viagra stuff can really mess up a hairdo I guess...

I take 100mg. tablet. Thankfully, I have excellant medical insurance so my "out of pocket" is peanuts. Only 6 pills per refill.

My Doc told me about cutting the tablet in half if I felt 100mg. was too much. With the additional psych drug I'm on though, 100mg is adequate. What really bothers me is the heartburn.

RG:
Good point about that sperm retention headache!:D

I never paid my bill @ Hair club for men.
I think these folks put something in the rag they sowed on my head!

And to hell with that marriage cake! Been there, done that!

On MAY 27th, 2005 the FDA Reported that the worlds most popular Erectile Dysfunction (ED) drug (Viagra, manufactured by Pfizer) may cause temporary or permanent vision loss. It was also reported that 50 cases of "Viagra blindness" as a result of Viagra side effects had been observed to date.

Viagra side effects may include visual effects from loss of a portion of the visual field to total blindness. The condition is called Non-Arteritic Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION), which affects 1 to 10 out of 100,000 people. Those considered to be at risk are patients with existing blood vessel problems, like diabetes or hypertension. It usually occurs during the night when blood pressure is naturally lower.

NAION (a stroke of the eye) occurs when small arteries in the eye do not get enough blood, causing a spontaneous stroke in the optic nerve. NAION stands for Non-arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy, which means optic nerve death caused by a stroke.

It is estimated that about 10 to 20 percent of people who get NAION in one eye will later get it in the other eye. Vision may spontaneously improve in about 40 percent of cases, but virtually never returns to normal. There is to date no treatment for NAION. People with abnormally sized optic nerve portions, may be predisposed to the NAION and should consult thier physician before using an Erectile Dysfunction drug such as Viagra, Levitra, or Cialis. Viagra users with diabetes may also be at higher risk of serious Viagra vision related side effects.

Although it has not been confirmed it is believed that other Erectile Dysfunction (ED) drugs such as Levitra and Cialis may also put users at risk of acute visual impairments or perhaps even permanent blindness.

Yeah, I'm not afflicted with any of those horrible sounding ailments.
My optomeye doctor has given me a clean bill of health recently.

Now I have to go see the L'il woman later today. ( Sigh) Such demands on my abilities get old!:)

I already suffer from NAION and I don't even take any of these meds

Well you cut back on the viagra and instead do some tongue excersize. :D This would cut down on the heartburn or you could try taking a zantac 150 before you take viagra.

In the event of visual impairment or heartburn Viagra comes complete with.....

BIG JIM SLADE!

I call Bullshit!

Any man that isn't getting any should look at himself and what he is doing wrong! (j/k) Well, sometimes. Why wouldn't someone want to (ahem) cum? Come on now.

In my professional opinion, I'd say the woman just can't enjoy it. Some of the female species just can't relax or let go and take it. Take my sister for example. She is 29 years old and has never had an orgasm. Plenty of sex (probably too much, honestly) but never an orgasm. I think she's got some brain issues that aren't letting her (probably the reason for the mucho promisicuoso sex, too).

I have no problems. Hence the mucho kiddos.

But maybe some of us are just cold fish. Wasn't it back in the day that women weren't suppsed to behave like sexual beasts? Maybe that's it. Some women don't feel like they can or should let go?

I think I am putting too much thought into this. But this is something that has always intrigued me. I think the phyche has a lot to do with it for a woman. The scientist in me wants to do an experiment. Kinda gross, huh.

listen, rookie, when you have mucho years under your marriage-belt and that beautiful pelvis, you will know that the woman controls the shots even more than on your first phone date for cryin' out loud.

what I am doing wrong apparently at this juncture is thinking of gettin' some at the wrong calendar year segment designation other then when my predetermined optional coupling allowance is voted on by a jury of my spouse.

the veteran guys out there know what I am talkin' 'bout

This is a good example of why I don't trust the drug companies. They can't possibly know how their complicated drugs will interact with your body (and the myriad other complicated drugs that are out there). For those who think these doctors and scientists know better, two points: 1) their aim is to make money for themselves and their shareholders, and 2) this is the same country that, not too long ago, was using DDT, telling women Thalidamyde was fine, and was filling it's houses' walls with asbestos and painting them with lead paint.

If I have to choose, I'll choose to see my limp pecker vs. having a hard-on and having to stumble around the house bumping into walls trying to find something to stick it into...

RoadGrader I feel for you.
My brother has about the same relationship as yours.
I was much lucky er in life. Even after 24 years we still manage a minimum of on the weekends. We don't go like rabbits any more but hey the wife and I are in our late 50s so I think we do just fine.

I hope you don't think that was a diss to you RG, there was a j/k next to it!:D

Seeing how women go through hormone changes through menopause and dudes have problems getting it up in the later years, age has everything to do with it.

I am sure you are all studs in the sack:thumb:

The part that gets to me the most is when ever an organization complains about the cost of meds in this country the drug companies are quick to spout off about R&D, testing and marketing. Obviously there wasn't a lot of R&D for ED meds they were stumbled upon while trying to produce a heart medication and its also quite obvious there wasn't a lot of testing either. As far as marketing how hard do you figure pfizer had to work to sell a pill to the male population that can give even dead people erections. Nuf said!

I certainly understand anyone not trusting these drug dealers. :)

As I mentioned in another post, I 've had my eyes examined and photographed so as to be able to determine changes in the conditions of my eyes @ a later date.

There are so many chemicals and other
agents out there that can do a body harm,
so I cannot spend time worrying about stuff like this. It's better than an implant.
Hear about the lawsuit concerning a penile implant that never got flaccid
? 10 Years!!!!!!!
