I would hope I am not so blind as to post something like that. So far not even close.

The packing and cleaning for the move has begun in earnest. THe garage and laundry room took most of the day and I am wiped. Only 3000 SF more to go. :sulk:
 
When are the movers coming? I cannot fathom a move on that level.

We are shooting for March and will firm plans up soon. Thank GOD the company is helping move us or I might just have a huge bonfire on NYE and burn it all.
 
And BTW Mikie? What's up with the gross GIFs in the animated GIF thread? Some of the stuff is porn. GROSS! Won't be back in there FWIW.

Sorry I disagree. NSFW doesn't mean I need to see women playing with their boobs in a GIF. I'm not a prude but that kind of stuff maybe belongs in the Girlie pics thread? If not , that's fine I'll just stay out and miss out on the other creative stuff. Was just kind of surprised with some of it is all.

You have to remember your perspective piggie..its slightly warped. >)

During one move I literally gave up and left all kinds of things. I really regret the encyclopedias.

We are giving away ALL of our books that aren't very special to us. We will never read them again and now pretty much get everything digitally. That is a TON of weight that we won't have to haul.

The one good thing is that we are not renting out the larger garage at the back of our property so we can store things that we won't need for daily living and have it when we come back here to retire. Hahaa..here's hoping.
 
That's nice to have. Store as much as possible while settling in. Slowly work things in. Did that on my last move.

This would only happen to me.:) I got Savannah a Gronk jersey for Christmas (her request YAY) and she wore it out to go food shopping at Wal Mart with me today. A Puerto Rican guy comes up to us and tells her how great the jersey is and that he is from Boston. I ask where and he says, "I was adopted by a white Jewish family in Framingham my name is Levine". He then starts reciting the hebrew prayer that is said before eating to prove it. Just too funny. Gotta love all things Gronk brings to the world.:)
 
It is raining today and I don't have anything I have to do today. I love vacation days.
