Randy Moss Interview

His hands suck.

Then again, that's true of everyone on the team not named "Danny Amendola".

Oh yes.

Drop stats/ranking

89. Danny - 62/81 Targets 76.5% 2 Drops 2.5%

390. Gronk - 61/96 Targets 65% 0 Drops 0% (out of 398 ranked receivers - The 8 players ranked higher than gronk have a combined total of 75 targets)

And unless I'm missing something in how they compile this stuff, Tom seems to have trown the Gronk 35 uncatchable balls.

Cheers, Boston Tim
I'm suspicious of these numbahs. My eyeballs tell me Gronk has dropped quite a few this season, to the point that I've been concerned.

Corn spiracy theory: I'm thinking the bastards are out to get Tommy so when Gronk doesn't pull it in they stick it to Brady.

This Hankerson signing has huge upside with I'd imagine very minimal risk. This is where Belichick really earns his corn. He's like Warren Buffet in finding value trades.

Hankerson in with Brady, the potential is huge if he gets to grip with the playbook quickly.

Ocho Stinko is STILL trying to get a grip with the Pat's playbook.

What's your point?

All I'm saying is that there's a ton of people on the team who drop passes. What's one more?

BTW - no idea where you got your numbers, but these are current:
Code:
Rank Name Rec Drop Target Target% Drop %

6	Leonard Hankerson	26	8	46	56.5%	17.4%
7	Julian Edelman 61	8	88	69.3% 9.1%
19	Brandon LaFell 30	5	64	46.9% 7.8%
38	Dion Lewis 36	4	50	72.0% 8.0%

Bottom line, Hankerson drops passes. So does everyone else but Amendola and Gronkowski. He'll fit in just fine.

Hankerson drops passes.

Hankerson drops passes.

Don't recall what week is being referenced with the table I posted. Probably a week or two before Hankerson was cut.

The table rates the drops on "Catchable Passes"

My point was that Hankerson drops a lot of passes. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you are happy with a guy who drops cathcable passes at a way above average rate on the team, then that's your prerogative.

Do you ever agree with anyone?

I'm happy with Edelman and LaFell and everyone else on the team who isn't Danny Amendola, so yeah.

Do you ever agree with anyone?

Sure, if they agree with me too, and don't dismiss players out of hand...who already does the things your players currently on the team do. Like drop passes. :coffee:

I think a misunderstanding is happening, I think the point is only Danny catches everything thrown his way, the the new guy fits in with the rest of the WR's on the team, the his drop rate is nothing of concern.

Also makes you wonder how he had a 73.3 % rate against Houston.
