An upbeat lady and a fun show. RIP
 
I remember racing home on Friday nights to watch The Brady Bunch.

Used to watch it all the time in syndication.

Thought Carol Brady was the perfect mom.

Friday nights, the Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family.
Carol Brady was the mother of our generation.
 
She is from a small town here in Indiana (Dale, IN), she proved that you can start in a one stop light town and go big.
 
All of the TV folks that is people over 40 grew up with are beginning to pass away.

Y'know, we only had about 5 channels to watch, so we all grew up watching the same shows.

The younger generations will never have that, with their 50000 TV stations.

The thing is, though, our 5 TV stations in the 70's had the best TV that ever was, or ever will be. Having said that, The Brady Bunch was not one of those.:coffee:

Still, everyone loved Mrs. Brady.

Great post. She was the mom of our generation and a great one. My kids love the show which demonstrates just how timeless it was and funny.
