REPORT: The Atlanta Falcons are still trying to remove Tom Brady's foot from their ass

I'll plead "idiot" here and will welcome being corrected but I think his foot touched the center on the jump and thought that might be illegal.

When I first saw the flag, that's what I though they were calling. It looked like the center stood up to try to make contact.
I thought he hit the left guard, or should I say the left guard stood up and his right arm made contact with his foot as be jumped over the gap.

but that is from memory.

The call was for illegal formation though.

At game's end a Patriot was consoling Devonte Freeman.

Anybody know which Patriot that was?

41 minutes.

This is great, the best of the behind the scenes stuff to come out in the past few days.

It isn't in this footage, but I think Edelman had the comment that best encapsulates the team and this season. After Blount's fumble, Edelman lamented (this might be paraphrased, but it's close)

"Dammit! I should have gotten that fumble!"

No bitching about the mistake, no generic whining or woe is us.... it was all about what he could/should have done to pick up his teammate. He was wrong, of course, Atlanta had the ball before Julian ever had a chance, but that comment speaks volumes about the attitude on team.

Sooo...watching the replay of SB 51 on NFLN.

So, I'm pretty relaxed about it since we know how it ends and all...:coffee:

But it is still blowing my mind to now know that our Pats lead by zero points through the whole thing and still won. Of all the ridiculous stats and shit you can think of in years of football watching..wowie wow. My heart would bleed a little for Falcons fans...if I even actually knew just one that was just a real fan, and not just bandwagon "Any team but the Pats."

I was reading the Tom Brady GOAT book earlier and it was talking about Peyton in his loss to the Seahawks. Down by 3 scores at halftime after a terrible first half that included a pick 6.

'The game was effectively over at half.'

Just another reason why Brady is Brady.
