So, Tampa Bay looked awesome last night in a 34-3 preseason route. The entire team looked awful. Please make the case that it's because Brady didn't play. LOL

So if that's your reason care to explain the complete lack of cohesiveness with any unit? And depth, what depth? If this is what they got behind the starters and they can't even come remotely close to playing reasonably well that speaks a bit, no?

Surely John you know the difference between playing 1s vs 1s as opposed to 1s vs 2s and 3s? Not to mention, many coaches are trying different things in the preseason. Arians actually said he was quite happy with how some of his players played so it was pretty obvious he was not focused on the score or winning but on developing certain players.
And are you seriously questioning the depth of Tampa of all teams? Do you know how deep they are at every single skill position as well as the Lines and secondary? They brought back all of their starters and have a ton of young talent behind their vets because Licht has been hitting home runs in the draft since 2015. There entire draft this year was luxury including their first round pick, Tyron who already looks like a beast and will be used to spell JPP and Barrett.
No, I'm questioning if the depth is so good why did they perform so poorly as a unit.

Yeah, so, it was preseason when the Pats played the Eagles the other night, and the Pats 2nds and 3rds ran roughshod over that team. The execution was excellent. Organizational philosophy is key to performance from the top of the roster down.

Look if you want to revisit this when the real games begin, let's by all means. Tampa is a much better and deeper team than the Pats and that will bare out as the season plays out like it did last year when we collapsed in December and they won 8 straight in route to the Lombardi.
