Welcome to the ALL NEW Patriots Planet!

Yes, they do. Here it is.

This site is really smooth.

Another forum I post on regularly for a different sport also runs VB4, when going back and forth between the two sites before the move the difference was stark. Even more so on Mobile.

I'm still getting used to the new look of the Forum, it's weird seeing it in VB4, but no doubt we'll all get used to it in time.

It's not elegant, but it works.

I added BBCODE to embed tweets. All you need to do is copy the number string from the URL of the tweet. So, for the one above, the URL is https://twitter.com/RickGosselin9/status/1312102704731185154

That number at the end only. Copy that.

and then using normal bbcode brackets (without the spaces I have here)

[ tweet]1312102704731185154[ /tweet]

Thats it. You need to refresh the page for it to show.

IT WORKS!
You have to type "tweet" and /tweet between the brackets, paste the numbers, post, then refresh and voila!

Still feeling my way around and finding this site is pretty damn slick1

So...

I have and have downloaded an arcade (ibProArcade v2.7.6+). I have not installed it yet. It appears to be THE arcade that is left for vBulletin. In other words, if we do an arcade, it is this or nothing I think. I have a couple of issues with it:

  • It is a large mod with a ton of files to upload. Not worried about bandwidth, but just the amount of extra files polluting the core installation.
  • Part of the instructions require a CHMOD of one of the directories to 777. Which feels insecure.
  • It still uses flash
  • Previous versions were vulnerable to an SQL injection hack that could expose the entire database and/or bring down the site. From my searches, it was patched.

I did see somewhere though, that it had a casino option for it.

So, I am hesitant to do it. I understand the appeal for everyone though, so I want to install it for the community's enjoyment.

I will mull it over for awhile, but happy to hear opinions.

I'm no expert by any means and only trying to be helpful...after a quick search I found the hacking issues seemed to be occurring with vBulletin v2 & v5 used with ProArcade versions prior to 2.7.6 which are no longer supported.

IDK. Maybe ask the support people directly?

What happened to our Circle rep thread? I posted in it yesterday and today it appears to be gone.

I can't find it this morning. Is it gone again?

I found it with an odd thread title "Article: Fat Bear Week Competition"

I was lost. Finally found my way back.
Welcome back!

What issues did you have finding us? I thought I had the redirect pretty seemless, but if something didn't work to get you here, I'd love to know so I can fix it. 🙂

How do you see rep comments now? I'm sure I'll:facepalm: at how easy it is but I can't find it.
Love how quick post allows access to emoticons now. I remember code for some, but it's nice to have that!
