After watching Bolden last night, I thought he was more than impressive, and I do think that it's very possible that he's too good to not make this team. I think they just might carry four backs and use a FB/STer.

Man....I am out of the loop...who is Bolden?

Old? 25? I have a couple shirts older than that.“The older you get, the more you have to pay attention,” Fletcher said. “You start to get 25 and older.
The new qb.
Brady was cut yesterday.
Os, I have no inside knowledge if Bolden &/or Larsen will make the team but I think both could based on their positional play as well as their ST play.
Here's how I can see it
Last year Koutouvides was on all 4 ST units as was Barrett.
In camp, Larsen has been in on all 4 ST units with the 2nd team.
Larsen could take the place of 1 of them (Barrett?) and add way more value as a FB who actually plays.
Last year Tracy White was on 3 ST units. (K, KO, Punt)
In camp, Bolden has been in on 3 2nd team ST units + 1st team ST on KO.
Bolden for an aging White is a no brainer to me.
That can't be true or the browns would have broke their as* to pick him up and they are too busy selling their sorry team to steelers fans.
BLGE 2.0 (except it won't take him three years to get up to speedman....i am out of the loop...who is bolden?

Kouts didn't initially make the the squad in 2011 and Barrett has work cut out to be on it this year. Really, Larsen would have to leapfrog guys like Fletcher and White to earn a spot.
This is what I'm saying. Larsen over White and Bolden over Barrett. Or over whoever else they can replace on STs.
Anyone concerned that the DL looks great because the concerns about the OL are legit?
There are 2 sides to these camp reports, right? If the passing game looks sharp, that should raise some questions about the DBs. If a DL beats Weams, that doesn't tell us much. If he beats Solder, it's hard to know if you should be excited about the rusher or concerned about Solder? The GL offense is crushing it? WTF is wrong with the GL D?
Just raising the point that camp reports are inherently positive, but how the units perform against one another is, in many cases, a zero-sum game.

That said, reports that individual players - especially high-upside underperformers, key FAs, & injured like Dowling, Cunningham, Fanene & Brace - are very positive because you're measuring them against other known commodities at their position.

We had a ton of film from 2010 of McCourty eating up some top-tier WRs, so theoretically WRs that beat him in 2011 camp should have blown up.RE Solder -- We have film of him last year against starting NFL players, so we have an idea at least of where he was last year. So anyone that is beating him is probably doing a real good job.
