Week 5, no week 6. I don't know - Donks at Patriots. Someone else needs to create these threads!

I don't see the NFL lasting much longer this year with the Wuhan Wiggle Worry Warts...if they're really that afraid of it, bubble suit up. :coffee:

Yes, that was my point.

If they really were all that concerned about 2020, they would "bubble up".
I heard NFLPA dont want it. Players said they would opt out. In the end its all about money. There could be ebola going around and they would want a season.

Games between 7 other teams were affected by the postponement of the Pats-Broncos game and 6 teams have new bye weeks. Damn, that's a lot of shuffling.

They just keep trying to put a bandaid on a gusher.

Anyone who thought that their would not be issues with the China virus was not being realistic. These are just bumps in the road. So, they have to reschedule a few games, no big deal.

Its week 5 and they already had to move 7 teams around. lol I would not call that a bump in the road, at this rate it will be next june when they play the superbowl.

Keeps the guys in the NFL office busy so they are not playing pocket pool. I'd say that's a good thing. Compared to what most people have had to adjust to in their normal lives, yes this has just been a bump in the road so far.

To me, they should have just canceled the season. I know money trumps everything, but they are putting peoples lives at risk, when other sports like the NBA went to the bubble. NFL was not going to do that and now you have this mess.
Its not going to go away, the virus will be here and spreading as long as their are humans and no vaccine.

No they aren’t.

if your statement had any truth they’d cancel every season for flu. It’s a bigger threat with this demo. And children. More kids have passed with flu than Covid. In the height of this pandemic. These finely conditioned pro athletes under the age of 40 have incredibly low odds of perishing if they contract it.

Donks HC Vic Fangio:

“All of this stuff is going to seem unfair when you’re initially hit with it,” Fangio said via transcript released by the Broncos. “We’ve prepared for a game and the game first got moved for one day but now it’s getting moved totally. So, yeah it’s going to seem unfair and you’re going to ask, ‘Why are we doing this?’

“My message to them and to anybody is that we were inconvenienced by this — but it easily could have been turned around where we had the positive test and the Patriots were inconvenienced by it,” he said. “I’m happy that the positive tests weren’t in our building but I’m under no illusion that at some point we might have a positive test or two and be the cause of a game getting moved down the road.

“We’re all in this together,” said Fangio. “The entire league is. We compete like hell on Sundays to beat each other but ultimately we’re all in on this thing together. It doesn’t matter who’s at fault or who has the positive tests, we all just have to deal with it.”

“In a weird way, I’m really happy it’s happening for our team. It identifies the whiners — who are the whiners. Who can’t handle adversity? Who gets hijacked by inconveniences? We don’t want those guys. We want people who deal with this without the whining, who take this inconvenience as an opportunity to get better.”

This Vic Fangio guy doesn't sound like a bad leader.

I am sick of the "in it together" bull shit lie.

Cheers
