I think Bill will come back for the Pats HOF moment but he will do it for the fans primarily and his players who he made champions. But I cannot imagine the interaction with Kraft will be warm.
Oh, I think you are spot on with this one. It's going to get very ugly. At least when we were all pissed off about Deflategate we were united
against Roger and his henchmen. This thing was entirely internal and unnecessary.
While I'm surprised at the level Kraft has stooped to, what really galls me is that just a few weeks ago we heard him smarmily praising Bill to the
heavens at the exit presser when at the same time Kraft had very likely recorded everything we're hearing. I mean, I don't know when it was recorded,
but it seems likely it was done some time ago. I'm sure that everybody involved knew what everybody else was saying during the filming like a bunch
of kids in a High School lunchroom talking about the big juicy rumor of the day.
This makes me think that Bill knew everything that was coming down and accepted that presser as the phony words of a man that had already
planned to stab him in the back in a very public, actually global, way. Yet, he handled the situation with characteristic dignity and never once rolled his eyes or
exposed his former Boss as a total fraud. Can you imagine what would have happened had Bill called him out right in the middle of that presser?
Damn, I wish he did. I won't be holding my breath waiting, but I'd love to see what a furious, vengeful Bill who has had quite enough of this smear campaign
looks like.
