Thanks Box. Shuler came a long way in his four years. I took notice of him while watching him practice prior to his Soph year. He was raw and not strong enough to compete although he was obviously driven. He was playing behind Andrew Quarless who, at that time, has received extensive playing time as a fresh and looked like a budding first rounder, and didn't look like nearly the player Quarless was. He's not the same type of downfield threat that Quarless is but his blocking improved tremendously and he does threaten the seams and can run the cross. PSU has produced many solid pros over the last ten years. Shuler isn't the blocker that many of them have been being only 250 but he's also just scratched the surface of his ability as well. He's been groomed since youth as well (I've never seen a practice that he father didn't attend and talk with him about afterward). Any idea what round is he being projected in right now?

I think you misunderstood my point about Branch, and so I must apologize for not being clearer. A lot of people harbor ill feelings towards him for the way his time in New England ended up, and that's what I was referring to when I mentioned that I thought your position was personal. It wasn't meant to be derogatory towards you but, rather, was a way of trying to understand the ardent nature of your opposition to his return. If I read your posts about that wrong, I apologize for that instead.
