We're on to Buffalo: Gamete Thread

only because protocols are different. not realities.

I'm sure he'll be available to find a new team next year. This whole thing with him has been a distraction. Other players are not Vax'd and you don't hear from them. I like Beasley, but as we predicted in Spetember, he's out for the biggest game of the season

Is this your Super Bowl?

was going to comment on Beasleys thing then decided it is "political forum" stuff, so will just say that he is being a "distraction" and I wouldn't want that on the pats (people can feel how they feel about things, that's fine, just don't be a distraction)
Won the division last year, went to the AFC Championship game. Until that gets taken away, we're still the reigning Division champs. I think it's funny when people act like this is the Bills of the early 2000's. I think it's funny that with running every down, some people think getting 200 yrds is a big deal. I guess that it'd be the same as throwing more punches getting you more hits.

That plan got 1 TD. You can run between the 20's all day long, but the Bills were still driving for the win at the end of the game last time and swept NE last year so really, I hope the Bills show up with their heads out of their asses and I hope NE is thinking this is going to be as easy as Pats fans seem to think it is.

Didn't NE lose to Miami.... again? And NO?? Buffalo slapped the shit out of both of those teams. Any given Sunday, right??
Will be very interesting to see how it plays out Sunday, assuming weather not a factor, and Pats can run the full offense. if weather is a factor, oh well, both teams have to play in it (in NH it says 30% chance of snow sunday but didn't bother to check Foxboro). For his rookie hiccups against Colts, Mac did lead a comeback in 4Qtr, had 2 TD's and thru just under 300 yards with no run game. if pats can get a balanced offense going - and stop the gaffe's they had against the colts - I'm feeling confident they can win. that's why they play the game.

as for losing to Miami this year.... they lost. had a chance to drive for the winning score and fumbled. it's an odd year overall and you can't say "Team A beat Team C, but team C beat Team B so therefor Team A will beat Team B blah blah blah".

I give you credit HK, for a fanbase of a team that has never won anything you guys are supremely confident.

I know you will dispute this as you did in the post above (in red) so I guess we will have to agree that the definition of winning is different for Patriots fans than it is for Bills fans.

You lost to the Jags, the fucking Jags of all teams so don't come to our forum spouting this gd nonsense. And that Bills forum you belong too, they're not different than 2 Bills Dr, one of our members here joined it to to converse with Bills fans and he's been treated like shit, the same cannot be said for your treatment here. If your team wants the ACFE crown they're going to have to come to Gillette and earn it and I feel pretty good about the Pats chances of winning on Sunday.

He still doesn't get it. Odd to have such a selfish person in the ultimate team sport.
not going to get into the "sides" here. don't want to derail. but the facts are there are 2 different sets of rules while both subsets of people can get and give covid. i fail to see why he's selfish for pointing out the truth. as long as he is following protocols that are in place he is doing nothing outside the rules of his employer. so again, how is it selfish?

I expect a whole lot of running and play action. We'll see how the defense fares against the Bills passing attack this time around.
Ironically our pass defense isn't the area I am worried about. What I see playing out (this is just my opinion) we let Buffalo run, we don't let Allen run though. Force him to hand the ball off, we need to keep Allen contained in the pocket, pressure him, don't give him an escape route and force him into premature throws and hopefully that translates to turnovers. But we can't let him run and prolong drives, force them into 3 and outs. Wear out their defense early.

As for our offense, I say we go right at Buffalos run defense again. Force them to have 8 or 9 in the box, challenge them to stop us. Then hit them with play action.

He's using an unnamed "vaxxed" teammate in the hospital to prove his point. To me, that is pretty selfish. I frankly don't care if he's vaccinated or not. It's his choice, but he seems to be the most vocal about it all, which I would imagine is a distraction. Once again, I would consider it selfish. I'm sure there are other unvaccinated players, but they seem to not generate controversy due to keeping it to themselves.

If we're looking for a possible silver lining. Imagine if Ernie's last pick balls out and becomes a David Givens/Jules-type late round bloom pick.
