All other things aside I do not liking hiring the coach before the GM unless you're hiring a Coach with final say and I do not love the idea of Mayo being that guy either (first time coach, player coach ect..)
 
Reports now that the team is in no hurry to hire a GM and may wait until AFTER the draft to appoint one...

What makes anyone think the team will hire a GM?

It's been almost 25 years since they've had a person with that title in the organization.

Because Bill is gone. I think we will see a much more traditional structure ...
 
So nothing has changed outside of Mayo. I mean, I suppose in the last draft they got Gonzo, White and now Sidy Sow making an all rookie team or whatnot. If they can do that again...but still seems weird.

Its going to be epic in one way or another imo.

I do too, guess we shall see. Too many cooks is not usually a good thing.
 
Kraft is making a fool of himself if this GM story is true. He literally waffled about checks and balances a few days ago and now there will likely be no GM? It could well be because Kraft and Son just don't want too many people between them and personnel decision making.

I mean if we think Jerry Jones is bad......

Groh has been reporting directly to the Kraft's for 3 years.

Think of it this way. They're not naming a GM for two reasons.

1) Money
2) Jonathan Kraft is the GM.
 
Maybe personel decisions will be not up to one man.

Wolf, Groh, Mayo.... Majority wins.
