The Bucks are pretty good.
It would be nice if the Celtics won every game by 20, but they pay the other guys too. And considering this game is wedged around the dregs to the league, it's tough to get and stay up for a game like this, which actually means nothing in the scheme of things, imo.

They are the most talented team in the league, but a fair margin. But they play a lot of stupid basketball, and a lot of soft basketball, and that is a huge problem on nights when they aren't nailing 3s at a high percentage, and on nights when they play gritty, aggressive teams.

I've been thinking about it, wondering if it's due to the aging nature of the population of this place.
I know it's not a fundamental fact of existence that we all must turn into, "Get off my lawn" bleak outlook, curmudgeons as we get older. I know this cause there are those who aren't.
Something I've been tossing around in my spare time recently.
Lots of examples of it throughout history.

This team is (thankfully) not chasing anything other than a chip. Are they having a historically great season? Yes, because they have the potential to be historically great. Jr and I use the analogy of the '18 Sox. Best team in franchise history and one of the greatest single seasons ever. They lost 57 games that season (includes postseason), the whining and bitching was the same after every loss. Excluding SB 36 the whining and bitching was the same about every Pats loss during the run. Jr is thankful that he was raised outside of that environment because he can just appreciate it without all of the baggage that comes with it. I think I have a point...
...oh, yeah...People forget that the other teams gets paid too. They also forget that athletes are human beings and are subject to ups and downs. From what I understand half of the starters sat that game out and they were STILL up by 30 on a team fighting for a playoff spot. The only thing this does is potentially keep them at 65-66 wins, and to be honest I won't say I'm completely unhappy that it happened, gives them a chance to refocus...even machines need a tune up once in a while

I'm with you. The regular season does nothing for me. The difference between wining and losing in the playoffs is razor-thin. The Celtics suck at winning close games. Their two best players are as stupid as they are talented. You can count on them to turn it over. Miss free throws or play iso ball. And take forced fall away shots at the end of games.
