I don't know who is the best but I would put money on the following teams having the best chance to win the SB:

Pats
Seattle
Carolina
Pitt

Any other team would be an upset IMO. Those are the best teams with playoff prowess except for Carolina but they are clearly the best team from top to bottom.

The 'Skins are rolling right now. I think if you were to restart the season at this point they'd be a 12 win team. For them to go out and play the way they did yesterday in a game they didn't need said a lot. Cousins played 4 possessions, they scored on all 4.

edit...oops, 5 possessions. They punted after the first one.

My vote? Based on hope, loyalty and belief.

Why does everybody insist on riding Pittsburgh's junk? Without Williams they are completely one-dimensional on offense and their secondary might actually be worse than the one Baltimore put on the field last year.

My heart says Pats, my head says Arizona.

The KC fans are clearly biased, which should not be a surprise to anyone.
I'm wondering who voted for Houston

They'll need Carson Palmer to not go all Carson Palmer.

True. Every team has a flaw at this point. We're all just going with gut instincts at this point. We can come up with pros and cons for every team.

The best team? Who knows?

The wiliest, can't-count-them-out team?

Our NE Patriots.

I was split between Carolina and AZ.

Went Carolina. They seem the healthiest.

Doesn't mean I like em in the SB though.

Carolina needs to win in the playoffs to prove that they're legit...
Cards tanked it like the Packers and Pats yesterday...but, I still think that they're going to the superbowl...
Vikings aren't the worst team...
Redskins are eh...
So are the Texans...
Packers are also eh...
Seattle has momentum, they have a chance...
KC also has momentum, but, Alex Smith is as exciting as Andy Dalton...
Bengals have Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis...
Steelers are in the playoffs only because the Jets didn't want to go there...they've lost Williams too...for how long, I dunno...they're not the best team...but, they're not the worst team either...
Denver is very beatable, they're not putting any fear in anyone...
Pats look like they're one and done unless they get healthy...

Did I miss anyone?

Honestly, the past 8 or so years have given birth to so many WTFs that I have no clue. I mean, the 09 Saints dumped their last 3 in bad fashion and became the 1st SB winner ever to do that. The NYG became the 1st 9-7 team ever to win a SB. We've had 2 teams with losing records win their first playoff game. Think we've had 2 WC SB champs (GB and Pitt). We had an 11-5 team miss the playoffs altogether, along with several 10-6 teams. I'm sure I will think of more.

I have been on the Arizona train for a while. After yesterday, not sure if they were mailing it in or found a terrible matchup.

This. This explains (at least in part) why the league is out to get the Pats. But for them, the above events would provide complete proof that the parity plan was 100% successful. The Pats' unrivaled success in the face of the parity plan makes a mockery of it.
